ตอนอายุยี่สิบต้นๆ ผมกลับมาอยู่บ้านริมทะเลกับแม่ ไปทำงานที่ร้านกาแฟเชนแห่งหนึ่ง ตั้งใจแค่หาเลี้ยงปากท้อง ไม่คิดเลยว่าจะตกหลุมรักกาแฟซะงั้น ผมฝึกลาเต้อาร์ตทีละแก้วทีละแก้ว ฝึกมือให้นุ่มนวล แต่ต้องนิ่งและมั่นคง

In my early twenties, I moved back to my seaside home and lived with my mom. I took a job at a chain coffee shop just to get by, and ended up falling headfirst into coffee. Cup after cup, I practiced latte art, learning a gesture that is gentle, yet steady.

พออายุสามสิบกว่า ผมย้ายมากรุงเทพฯ ไปทำที่ร้านกาแฟกลางเมืองที่เจ้าของเพิ่งมารับช่วงต่อ เจ้าของใหม่ชวนผมเข้ามาร่วมงาน และให้พื้นที่ผมได้ใช้ความสามารถทั้งหมดที่มี ที่นั่นผมได้เรียนรู้วิธีบริหารร้านกาแฟ อยู่ที่นั่นมาสิบปีเต็ม ตอนแรกร้านเงียบมาก เหมือนละครที่ไม่มีคนดู แต่ก็ยังเล่นไปตามปกติ ต่อมาลูกค้าก็ค่อยๆ เพิ่มขึ้น แล้วโควิดก็มา แต่ร้านก็ยังไม่ปิด วันเกิดปีหนึ่ง ผมได้ของขวัญเป็นคอร์สสั้นๆ ทำเบเกอรี่ที่เลอ กอร์ดอง เบลอ ในกรุงเทพฯ ตั้งแต่นั้นผมก็หลงรักไออุ่นจากเตาอบ ผมหัดเองจากอินเทอร์เน็ต นวดแล้วนวดอีก อบแล้วอบอีก ทำเสร็จก็เอาไปวางขายในร้าน ปรากฏว่าลูกค้าก็ชอบด้วย

In my thirties, I came to Bangkok and worked at a coffee shop that had just changed hands. The new owner brought me on board and gave me room to put all my skills to use. Working there, I learned how to run a coffee shop. I stayed ten years. At first the shop was empty, like a play with no audience, and the show went on anyway. Then customers slowly came, COVID arrived, and the shop never closed. One birthday, I received a gift: a short baking course at Le Cordon Bleu in Bangkok. From then on, I loved the warmth of the oven. I taught myself online, kneading again and again, baking again and again. What I made went into the shop for sale, and the customers happened to like it too.

In October 2025, I moved to Nonthaburi and opened a small shop of my own. What I make, I want my mom to be able to eat without worry: natural ingredients, natural yeast, a little less sugar, a little less oil.
